His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, has announced plans to resume mediation of the Bawku crisis as part of ongoing efforts to find lasting solutions to the conflict.
The mediation, as agreed upon by both parties, is scheduled to take place from April 28 to May 1, 2025, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
The Asantehene is calling on all stakeholders to cooperate in achieving lasting peace in Bawku.
The announcement was made in a press release issued by the Manhyia Palace on April 15.
