Asamang Tamfoe rainstorm: Atiwa East MP supports victims with building materials

The MP's donation follows the havoc caused by the rainstorm

The Member of Parliament for Atiwa East Constituency in the Eastern Region, Abena Osei-Asare, has extended support to victims of a recent rainstorm in Asamang Tamfoe in the area.

Her gesture follows a visit to the community after a heavy rainstorm hit parts of the area in late April 2025, ripping off roofs and displacing several residents.

Mrs. Abena Osei-Asare, through the constituency executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), generously donated over 20 packets of roofing sheets and boxes of roofing nails to assist affected residents in rebuilding.

“As a follow-up from Sunday’s visit, I distributed 25 packets of roofing sheets and 20 boxes of roofing nails through the constituency executives to support the rebuilding efforts of the families affected by the rainstorm in Asamang Tamfoe,” the MP stated in a post.
