Marriage counselor, Counselor George Lutterodt, has expressed his disappointment with the 45-day prison sentence handed to Seyram, calling it “too small.”

On the Angel Drive Show on March 6, 2025, Lutterodt shared his thoughts on the matter, stating that the location where Seyram recorded the video should have been considered in the judgment, adding that 45 days is “too small” for someone like her.

“For a girl like Seyram, 45 days is too small. The premises where she did the video needs to be added to the judgment and indecent,” he stated.

He also criticized the way the judge’s name was pronounced, emphasizing the need to show respect when addressing judicial officers.

He believes the law should be reviewed to ensure stiffer penalties for individuals who insult people in authority.

“Pronouncing the name of the judge not his lordship is a sign of disrespect and 45 days is too small for this act, the law must be reviewed,” he uttered.

“This should serve as a lesson to others who insult people in authority in the name of expressing their views,” he added.

In his opinion, a more suitable sentence would have been 90 days. He further suggested that if Seyram commits another offense after her release, she should be brought back to prison to face additional sanctions.
