President John Dramani Mahama will today, Wednesday, May 7, address the nation to provide an update on the progress of his administration’s 120-day social contract with Ghanaians.
This was announced by the Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu. The President’s address will be broadcast live on radio and television at 8:30 p.m.
“President John Dramani Mahama will account to the nation on his 120-day Social Contract tonight at 8:30 p.m. in a live TV and radio broadcast,” Mr. Kwakye Ofosu stated in a post.
Sworn into office on January 7, today marks exactly 120 days—a period within which he committed to delivering on key promises outlined in the 2024 NDC Manifesto.
Some of the key promises fulfilled include the abolition of the E-Levy, the Betting Tax, and the Emissions Levy.
