Afrobeats Artiste, King Promise has been crowned Artiste of the Year at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
He beat out fellow nominees Stonebwoy, Black Sherif, King Paluta, Team Eternity, Kweku Smoke, and Joe Mettle to claim the top honor.
This marks his first-ever win in this category, despite being nominated for two consecutive years including the 2024 edition which Stonebuoy won.
The 26th TGMAs came off at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, May 10.
King Promise’s victory is a testament to his hard work and dedication to his craft.
He has been dominating the Ghanaian music scene with chart-topping hits like “Slow Down,” “Favorite Story,” and “Sexy,” and his celebrated album “True to Self”.
