Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has taken to social media to defend National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, following backlash over a gesture of him gifting dollars preacher, Patricia Koranteng.
In a tweet, Shatta Wale expressed frustration with Ghanaians who criticize others without knowing their full story.
According to the artiste, Gyamfi has a longstanding history of supporting underprivileged individuals and should not be condemned based on a single incident.
“Do you all know when Sammy Gyamfi started helping the streets? All of you should shut up and leave the young man alone,” Shatta Wale stated.
