Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has officially resumed her duties following her return to the Presidency after seeking medical attention in the United Kingdom.
Her first official duty was attending a general meeting of political appointees at the Presidency on Monday, May 26, 2025.
She was welcomed by the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, who extended the presidential team’s warm regards and expressed their excitement about having her back in office.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang thanked the team for their warm reception and commended their continued efforts in supporting President John Dramani Mahama’s vision of resetting and rebuilding the country.
“I thanked them for their well wishes and also expressed my appreciation to them for the remarkable work they have continued to do in advancing the President’s vision of resetting and rebuilding our nation,” the Vice President acknowledged.
She seized the occasion to encourage the team to press forward with renewed energy and determination as they continue to deliver on the government’s mandate.
