Renowned musician, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah, has clarified that his decision to sing for any political party isn’t driven by financial gain.

In an interview on Angel FM’s “Y’aduma Nie” with host Ohema Woyeje, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah emphasized that his endorsements are often based on policies of the party.

“I am a real politician, If you see me singing for any political party, it’s not because of money. Sometimes it’s because of the policies. I can vote for NPP (New Patriotic Party) today, but in the next election, I’ll vote for another party if their policies benefit Ghanaians,” he explained.

Also, he noted that he is a self-proclaimed NPP member since 1992, and has considered running for office but has chosen not to due to his music career.

“If there is a chance to take to seek any position in the government I can, but I don’t want to because I’m very busy,” he emphasized.
