NPP needs unity to rebuild – Bryan Acheampong
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Abetifi Constituency, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, has called on all party members to remain focused on rebuilding, rebranding, and renewing their collective mission as the party seeks to reposition and strengthen itself.

According to Dr. Acheampong, recent tensions, particularly the use of social media by NPP members to tarnish the party’s image, are concerning. He pointed out that this reflects the passion many of the party’s members bring to political discourse.

However, he reaffirmed that while passion is natural, division and hostility only serve to weaken the fabric of the party and distract members from their shared goals.

He stated that the NPP must strive for renewed energy and commitment to its cause. What is expected from party members, particularly the leadership, is to ensure that hope is restored through unity of purpose, maturity in conduct, and discipline.

“I urge all party members, from the grassroots to the top leadership, to remember what binds us: our shared values, our love for country, and our belief in a thriving Mother Ghana.

“Now is the time to rise above factions and forge a new path built on collaboration, courage, and credibility,” he urged.

In a statement released on Friday, June 13, 2025, Dr. Acheampong also mentioned that the strength of the New Patriotic Party lies in its unity.

He emphasised that the party must move forward together with courage, collaboration, and credibility to build the future that both the party and the country deserve.

“Let us set aside personal differences, engage in constructive discourse, and stay committed to the values that brought us together.

“This is not just about moving past disagreements; it is about working together, disciplined and united, to build a stronger future for our party,” he added.
