The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed 10 new cases of Mpox bringing the total number of recorded cases in Ghana to 117 as of June 20, 2025.
According to the GHS, no hospitalizations or deaths have been reported so far.
This was confirmed by the GHS in its latest update on the outbreak.
To strengthen prevention efforts, the GHS is cautioning the public to “Avoid close contact and keep your hands clean.”
The service highlights “Fever, rash and swollen lymph nodes” as some of the common signs of the Mpox disease.
These updates form part of the GHS’s campaigns aimed at improving public awareness and reducing transmission through targeted health education.
