The Shai-Osudoku District Assembly has pledged its full support towards the Standard of Living Survey being conducted by the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS), aimed at generating relevant data to guide development planning and policy interventions.

District Chief Executive (DCE) for Shai-Osudoku District, Ignatius Godfred Dordoe who made the pledge said, the Assembly was ready to give the GSS Field Team its full cooperation, which is set to operate across key communities in the district.

According to him, this will help to promote and facilitate sustainable development in harmony with national vision

Mr. Dordoe made this statement when the Ghana Statistical Service ( GSS) Field Team paid a courtesy call on him to brief him on the relevance and scope of the work.

The five-member team, scheduled to undertake Standard of Living Survey in the district, would be operating in Kasunya, Asutuare, Ayikuma and Dodowa, with Dodowa segmented into two clusters.

The survey, which commenced on July 15, 2025 is expected to last for 35 days.

Receiving the team, the DCE, assured them of the maximum cooperation and support of the Assembly throughout the stipulated period.
