Songwriter and singer, Akwaboah, has taken to TikTok to sound the alarm on the rampant jealousy that plagues social media platforms.

In a candid post, Akwaboah lamented the tendency of some social media users to ignore others’ successes while amplifying their failures.

“The jealousy on social media is so real,” Akwaboah warned. “Your only friends will scroll pass your progress but let anybody insult you, they will screenshot it and send it to you. The envy is real, protect your peace and move on.”

The artist’s words serve as a reminder to prioritize mental well-being and focus on personal growth, rather than getting caught up in the negativity that often pervades social media.

Also, his message relates with many who have experienced similar frustrations online. As social media continues to play a significant role in our lives, his words encourage users to cultivate a positive and supportive online community.
