Ghanaians are behind you, go and make us proud – Jordan Ayew to Black Queens

Black Stars captain, Jordan Ayew, has delivered a resounding message of support to the Black Queens as they prepare for their 2024 WAFCON semifinal clash against Morocco.

Ayew emphasized the unwavering backing of Ghana’s football community and called on the team to make the nation proud.

In a statement filled with admiration and encouragement, he praised the Queens’ performance and spirit throughout the continental showpiece:

“To my sisters, the Black Queens! I’m beyond proud of the way you’ve represented Ghana on the biggest stage. Your determination, skill, and teamwork are an inspiration to us all.”

He highlighted the collective support behind the team as they aim to overcome the Moroccan challenge and secure a place in the final.

“As you prepare to take on Morocco in the semifinals, I want you to know that the entire Ghanaian football family is behind you,” Ayew stated.

Urging the Queens to seize the moment and make history, he added; “We’re rooting for you, and we believe in your ability to make history. Go out there, give it your all, and make Ghana proud!”

Ayew concluded his message with a clarion call that echoes the hopes of an entire nation, saying “Let’s do this, Queens!”

The Black Queens’ who faces host nation Morocco today, Tuesday, July 22, at 7 PM GMT are just 90 minutes away from a final appearance.

The winner will meet either South Africa or Nigeria, who contest the other semifinal at 4 PM GMT.
