Federal Republic of Nigeria President Bola Tinubu, welcomed the Super Falcons to the presidential palace after the female national team [Super Falcons] won their 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations
The Super Falcons came from a two goals down in the first half to beat Atlas Lionness of Morocco to win 3-2 in the second half to win the highly contested trophy
Following their return to Nigeria, Monday, July 28, 2025 the President and the Governors’ Forum welcomed their heroes and exchanged pleasantries.
His Excellency Tinubu thanked them and outlined below, as the reward package for the ladies
— $100K each to all payers
— 3 Bed room apartment to each player
— $50K to each to all members of the technical team.
Additional 10M naira was awarded to the players by the Governors’ forum.
