Despite their geographical distance from the main theaters of conflict, many Latin American nations played significant roles in supporting the Allies and shaping the course of the war.

Latin America’s Contributions to World War II, Latin America’s participation in World War II was multifaceted:

Mexico and Brazil’s Military Contributions: Mexico’s Escuadrón 201 fighter squadron fought alongside the United States in the Pacific Theater, while Brazil’s Força Expedicionária Brasileira (FEB) fought in Italy.

Economic Support: Many Latin American countries supplied crucial raw materials, such as copper, oil, and coffee, to the Allies.
