MultiChoice Ghana has urged staff and stakeholders to remain focused amid concerns over a possible revocation of its operating license.

The Ministry of Communication and Digitalisation announced the development during a press briefing on Friday, August 1, 2025.

In an internal business update issued by Managing Director Alex Okyere, the company emphasized its focuse and noted that the development does not distract its business operations.

“What is important is that we don’t get distracted and remain focused in delivering our services to our customers,” Mr. Okyere noted in the update dated Friday, August 1.

The company also expressed its commitment to ongoing engagement with the Ministry, assuring employees that any new information would be shared promptly.

“The MCG Board and the MultiChoice Group continues to engage with the Minister and any new updates would be communicated to staff.”

He also advised against public commentary or speculation surrounding the announcement, directing all inquiries to stakeholder relations lead, Nii Amah Dagadu, via official email.
