In a statement released on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, and signed by Amb. Naha Effah-Apenteng, it was announced that a One Week Celebration will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Bogyawe, Manhyia Palace, from 12 noon to 6:00 p.m.
Furthermore, Manhyia Palace conveyed to the public that there will be a ban on all funerals across Asanteman on Thursday, August 21, 2025, to allow the Asantehene and the entire Asanteman to appropriately observe the One Week Celebration for the beloved Asantehemaa.
