Multiple reports suggest that the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has arrested the leader and presidential candidate of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo.
According to reports, Mr. Akpaloo was picked up from his residence in Kumasi on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
However, his current location remains undisclosed, with the reasons behind his arrest also remaining unknown.
At the time of filing this report, EOCO has yet not comment on the matter or release any official statement, leaving the circumstances surrounding his arrest uncertain.
