The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has entreated stakeholders to collaborate by playing their respective roles in making the Ghana Premier League (GPL) a model for the continent.

Mr. Okraku emphasized the need to ensure that the GPL becomes one of the very best in Africa.

He delivered this message in a statement on Friday, September 12, 2025, while wishing all Premier League clubs the best of luck ahead of the start of the 2025/26 season.

“Let us continue to work together with our players, officials, supporters, partners and all stakeholders to make the Ghana Premier League not only the pride of our nation but one of the very best on the African continent,” he noted.

Mr. Okraku stated that the new season “marks the beginning of the GPL revolution.”

He expressed hope that “May the 2025/26 season be truly epoch-making for Ghana Football and the best ever GPL season.”

The GFA boss also extended warm greetings and best wishes to all participating clubs.
