Music star, Wendy Shay has offered words of encouragement to rising musician Arathejay, after he was booed by a section of fans during his performance at the Presec-Legon Bonfire Anniversary Celebration on Friday, October 31, 2025.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Wendy Shay urged the young singer to stay focused and not be discouraged by the incident, citing her own journey in the industry.
“Every great musician has had a night like that — it’s part of the journey, I am a living example. Same ppl will pay millions to come watch u. @arathejay brace yourself cos u are the next big thing!,” she wrote.
Arathejay, who has been gaining attention in the music scene, faced an unexpected reaction from students during his set at the prestigious boys’ school’s annual bonfire event.
