The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has emphasized the importance of the newly amended constitution as a key step toward strengthening the party.
Speaking at a press conference, Mr. Kodua stressed embarking on a robust membership drive to restore members confidence in the party’s internal electoral process.
In ensuring that, he said, was to prevent internal electoral challenges by way of introducing initiatives that encourages polling stations to hold regular meetings to discuss and address relevant party matters.
“The party strongly direct that the base of our parties at the polling stations and therefore as part of our strategy to strengthen our base, there should be pollen stations meetings once in a month at various pollen stations” he reiterated
He noted that various polling stations within an area will be grouped into clusters, adding that any member must vote at their designated polling station.
Speaking further, Mr. Frimpong Kodua elaborated on the process of acquiring a membership card in accordance with Article 3 of the party’s constitution
