Gov’t to address nation on helicopter crash among key events

Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has announced that the government is set to address the nation on important national matters from Monday, November 10 to Thursday, November 13, 2025.

According to a post on his Facebook page on Sunday, November 9, 2025, the report on the investigation into the August 6 helicopter crash tragedy, which claimed the lives of eight government officials will be presented to the National Security Council on Monday, November 10, 2025.

The notice indicates that the details of the report on the tragedy will be released to the public at a media briefing on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Mr. Kwakye Ofosu also noted that on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, President John Dramani Mahama will launch the “nkoko nkitinkiti” programme in Kumasi – an aim to revitalise the domestic poultry sector, decrease the country’s significant dependence on imported chicken, generate employment opportunities, and guarantee food security.

He further stated that the 2026 Budget, packed with significant policy initiatives, is scheduled to be presented in Parliament by the Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
