The Supporters Union of Ghana Premier League (GPL) outfit, Swedru All Blacks, has issued a stern warning to the club’s coach, Ahmed Fathi, about potentially losing his job due to poor performance.

According to the supporters, the recent poor run of form by the Swedru-based traditional club is below their standards.

Coach Ahmed Fathi’s side has recorded disappointing results recently, amassing 7 points from a possible 27 after 9 rounds of matches.

This has culminated in mounting pressure on the Egyptian coach and his technical team to restore the club’s winning ways, especially in their next fixture against Accra Hearts of Oak on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

In a statement, the supporters union vowed to demand the dismissal of the Egyptian tactician should the club succumb to defeat in their impending game with Hearts of Oak.

“We the supporters of Swedru All Blacks United fc, wish to inform our coach Ahmed Fathi, that he has no option than to win our impending game against Accra Hearts of Oak.

“The team has recorded disappointing results over the past few games and we lay the blame at his doorstep. By our standards, amassing seven(7) points out of a possible twenty-seven (27) isn’t good enough, and if care isn’t taken things will get out of hands,” they expressed.

They further accused the coach of favouritism in player selection, which they claim has caused low confidence and frustration among players, worsening the club’s woes.

“It has also come to our notice his continuous use of a certain group of players, thereby ingoring calls to give equal opportunities to all our registered players.

“This has brought low confidence in some players, and rumours has it that, certain players are frustrated and want to leave the club,” Parts of the statement issued by the Supporters Executive read.

According to the supporters, any result apart from a victory this weekend at the Swedru Sports Stadium will compel them to mount pressure on management to sack the coach.

They, however, expressed their readiness and unwavering dedication to support the coach in turning things around.

“We as supporters will do everything we can to assist him in winning this game, and we will be at the stadium to cheer our boys up as we have always been doing.”
