Finance Minister, Cassiel Ato Forson has announced that 20,000 girls across all 16 regions in Ghana will receive training in coding and robotics.

Addressing Parliament on Thursday, November, 13, 2025, he explained that the training will give more young women the chance to develop digital skills, learn problem-solving, and explore opportunities in technology.

“The 2026 target is to reach 20,000 girls across all 16 regions.”

Mr. Forson further explained that the programme which was introduced this year has helped girls acquire knowledge in technology and has prepared them for future careers.
