Prince Nkrumah, an ICT teacher popularly referred to as Sir Skinny at Ansah Redeen Basic School in Assin Fosu Municipality of the Central Region, has tragically taken his own life due to heartbreak.

Reports from ABN reporter Kwame Owusu Ansante Shadrack shed light on the circumstances surrounding this distressing incident.

According to the reporter, Sir Skinny, who was once live happily, suddenly became withdrawn and isolated.

The headmaster of the school noticed these changes and, concerned for his well-being, called him in for a discussion.

During this meeting, Sir Skinny claimed that his change in behavior was due to feedback he received from his students, who encouraged him to explore new teaching strategies.

He stated that last Thursday, November 13, 2025, Sir Skinny did not report to school. Concerned for his welfare, the headmaster and staff decided to visit his home to check on him.

Upon arrival, they found his door locked from the inside and heard his phone ringing with no response.

Growing more concerned, they decided to break into his room, only to find him unresponsive and lying lifeless after reportedly ingesting weedicide.

Mr. Owusu reported that Sir Skinny was rushed to the St. Francis Xavier Hospital, where doctors confirmed he was in a coma. Unfortunately, he passed away today, Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

Sources say, the deceased, after heavily investing in a nursing student later left him for another man, leaving him heartbroken. A suicide note was reportedly retrieved in his room, confirming his motive behind his action to end his life.
