32 Nigerians arrested in joint swoop by Cyber Security Authority and National Security

The Cyber Security Authority (CSA) in collaboration with National Security, has arrested 32 Nigerian nationals in a coordinated early morning operation at Tina near Kasoa. 

According to the Facebook post on Saturday, December 13, 2025, the CSA revealed,  the operation resulted in the seizure of electronic devices linked to suspected cybercrime with the suspects in custody assisting investigations

“The joint operation resulted in the seizure of 31 laptops and 15 mobile phones suspected to be linked to cybercrime activities; however, the suspects are currently in custody assisting with ongoing investigations while the seized devices undergo forensic analysis,” the statement noted. 

The CSA also reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding Ghana’s digital space through close collaboration with security partners in the fight against cybercrime nationwide.

“The CSA remains committed to safeguarding Ghana’s digital space in close collaboration with its security partners and encourages the public to report suspicious cyber-related activities through the appropriate channels in combating cybercrime and related offences nationwide,” the CSA urged.
