Jomoro MP thanks Queen Mothers for support, pledges continued development

As the Christmas season brings a time of reflection and unity, the Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, held a special engagement with Queen Mothers from all communities in the area.

The event provided an opportunity to express sincere appreciation for their prayers, guidance, and unwavering support throughout the year.

The MP thanked the Queen Mothers for honouring her invitation, noting that their presence reflects a shared dedication to the progress and development of Jomoro.

“I am thankful to the Queen Mothers for honouring this invitation. Their presence reflects our shared commitment to the progress of our communities.”

She emphasized that the kind words, prayers, and encouragement from these traditional leaders reinforce the importance of collective effort in achieving community growth.

“As the Christmas season brings reflection and togetherness, I once again engaged the Queen Mothers from all communities in the Jomoro Constituency, expressing sincere appreciation for their prayers, guidance, and steadfast support, and reaffirming our shared confidence in the greater development that lies ahead.”

Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey highlighted that the achievements in Jomoro are rooted in the wisdom of its traditional authorities, the commitment of community members, and the unity of the people.

She acknowledged that the constituency’s development is not the work of one individual but the result of shared vision, cooperation, and mutual support among all stakeholders.

Speaking on her personal connection to the constituency, the MP described Jomoro as holding a special place in her heart.

She pledged to continue leading with purpose, determination, and unwavering commitment, ensuring that the constituency experiences sustained growth and lasting prosperity.

She also reiterated the importance of collaboration between elected leaders and traditional authorities in driving community development.

“The kind words, prayers, and encouragement from our Queen Mothers reaffirm the truth that Jomoro’s progress is the result of collective effort. It is through the wisdom of our traditional leaders, the dedication of every community member, and the unity of our people that we have achieved so much. Jomoro holds a special place in my heart, and I pledge to continue leading with purpose, determination, and unwavering commitment to ensure Her growth and lasting prosperity.”

According to her, initiatives aimed at improving education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic opportunities are most effective when guided by the insights and support of local leaders who understand the needs of their people.

The engagement with the Queen Mothers further underscored the MP’s dedication to inclusive governance and the active participation of community members in shaping Jomoro’s future.

Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey concluded by expressing optimism that the coming year would see even greater progress, strengthened unity, and continued collective action towards the holistic development of the constituency.
