FC Samartex 1996 has announced the temporary suspension of its Assistant Coach and youth team coach, Eric Bekoe.
In an official statement released on February 3, 2026, the club’s management confirmed that the decision was taken following allegations of insubordination.
The former Asante Kotoko goal poacher is also accused of breaching the ethics that guide members of the FC Samartex 1996 technical team.
Following the suspension, the club disclosed that it has referred the matter to its internal disciplinary committee.
“He has subsequently been referred to the club’s disciplinary committee for hearing,” the statement reads.
