The National Democratic Congress (NDC), Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency, will organise the Aponkye Inter-Wards Football Gala on this year’s Valentine’s Day.
It is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, to Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the Auntie Aku Astroturf Park, starting daily at 7:00 a.m.
This two-day tournament will bring together teams from Olebu, Sowutuom, Anyaa West, Santa Maria, Anyaa East, Nii Okaiman West, Ablekuma, Kwashiebu, Auntie Aku, Lomnava, Awoshie, Agape, and Nii Okaiman East wards.
The friendly competition is designed to promote unity, camaraderie, and grassroots engagement, with a spirit of togetherness befitting Valentine’s Day.
The opening day will feature a curtain raiser match between Constituency Executive Committee Members and Ward Coordinators, setting the tone for cooperation, teamwork, and community spirit throughout the gala.
This initiative aims to strengthen bonds, encourage youth participation, and foster solidarity among party members through the joy of sport.
