Communications Team Member for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Aaron Asiedu-Antwi, has challenged the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) to show just one out of the 600 CHPS Compound facilities it promised to complete by the end of 2025.

Speaking on Angel TV on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, Mr. Asiedu-Antwi argued that the NDC’s health infrastructure promise was unrealistic, stressing that the party has no record of delivering even a single CHPS compound.

He described the pledge to complete 600 CHPS compounds by 2025 as misleading and politically opportunistic.

He made the remarks while criticising the party’s National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, following recent comments about youth employment in the security services, which he described as failed and irresponsible.

He condemned Johnson Asiedu Nketia’s statement that “if all the youth are employed, who will be arrested?” calling it “trash” and unworthy of a party chairman.

According to him, such remarks trivialise the serious issue of unemployment facing Ghanaian youth.

He accused Asiedu Nketia of hypocrisy, claiming that the chairman secured a position for his son as Deputy CEO while ordinary Ghanaians continue to struggle for job opportunities.
