The Christian Tetteh Yohuno, Inspector-General of Police, has promoted seven officers from the Tema Regional Police Command for their outstanding performance in a recent anti-robbery operation.
Those promoted include Chief Inspector Enoch Nartey Nuer, Inspectors Gershon Dekpey and Prince Asante, Sergeants Lukman Mohammed and Eugene Kuudouru, Corporal Jerome Akator, and Lance Corporal Jonathan Sewurah.

The promotions follow the officers’ swift response to a robbery attack on a Mobile Money vendor at Tema Community 5, which led to the shooting of two suspects and the recovery of a firearm, ammunition, and other exhibits.
The IGP, alongside the Police Management Board (POMAB), commended the officers for their bravery, discipline, and dedication to duty.
He urged them to see the promotion as a call to greater responsibility and encouraged all personnel to continue serving with professionalism and commitment.
