Passport office resumes passport printing after technical glitch

The Passport Office Ghana, has resumed printing passports after resolving a technical challenge that caused backlogs in the past weeks.

In a statement, the office assured the public that all passports are being printed and will soon be delivered to applicants by courier at no extra cost.

“We are printing all your passports, a technical challenge resulted in a few backlogs in the past weeks.

“The issue has been resolved and printing has resumed; your passports will soon be delivered to you by courier at the comfort of your address at no extra cost,” part of the statement read.

The office also confirmed that its expedited services remain in effect: a 24-hour service for GH₵2,000 and a 15-day service for GH₵350.

The Passport Office apologized for any inconvenience caused by the delay and thanked the public for their patience.
