Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea has announced the final funeral arrangements for their late striker, Dominic Frimpong, who was tragically killed in a suspected armed robbery attack on the team bus.
The 22-year-old will be laid to rest on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Assin Dansame, following a wake-keeping on Tuesday, April 28, at the Assin Dansame Durbar Grounds.
The club has called on sympathisers to join them in mourning with the bereaved family.
According to the club, Frimpong is survived by his parents and nine siblings.
He met his untimely death after the team was returning to Berekum after a Ghana Premier League fixture against FC Samartex.
