Ghanaian music sensation, Black Sherif, has once again cemented his place as one of the country’s biggest music stars after winning the coveted Artiste of the Year award at the 27th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
The award marks Black Sherif’s second Artiste of the Year win after previously claiming the top honour at the 24th edition of the awards in 2023.
The “Kwaku The Traveller” hitmaker had an unforgettable night as he swept five major awards at this year’s ceremony. In addition to winning Artiste of the Year, Black Sherif also took home Best Album of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Best Hiplife/Hip Pop Song of the Year, and Best Afro Pop Song of the Year.
His impressive dominance at the awards highlights another successful year for the musician, whose unique sound and storytelling continue to resonate with music lovers across Ghana and beyond.
