Rapper Medikal also emerged as one of the evening’s biggest winners, grabbing four awards. His hit single “Shoulder,” featuring Shatta Wale, won both Hiplife Song of the Year and Best Collaboration of the Year, while he also earned the Best Hiphop Artiste title.

Highlife sensation Kofi Kinaata maintained his consistency by winning Highlife Song of the Year with “It Is Finished” and also taking home the Highlife Artiste of the Year award.

Singer Moliy enjoyed international success at the awards after winning Best International Collaboration for “Shake It to the Max” remix alongside Shenseea, Skillibeng, and Silent Addy. The remix also secured the Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year award.
