Award-winning Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, has been honoured with the Badge of Service by the Ghana Police Service, in recognition of his influence, discipline, and contribution to society.
The musician shared the news in a post on social media, expressing gratitude to the Inspector General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, and the entire police administration for the honour.
According to Stonebwoy, the recognition goes beyond power and authority, emphasizing that true service also involves protecting the spirit of the nation through purpose and positive influence.
“A true symbol of service is not only to protect a nation with power, but to protect its spirit with purpose,” he wrote.
The artiste further stated that receiving the badge serves as a reminder that influence, culture, discipline, and service can coexist to inspire the youth and contribute to national development.
Stonebwoy also dedicated the recognition to the people of Ghana, especially the youth, while reaffirming his commitment to using his platform to promote positive values and patriotism.
