Management of Ho Teaching Hospital has dismissed reports that its frontage is flooded, describing an image circulating on social media as “false and misleading.”
In a statement issued on Monday, June 29, 2026, the Hospital said the main entrance is not flooded and remains fully accessible to patients, visitors, and staff.
It said all clinical and support services are also operating normally without any disruption.
“The image and accompanying narrative are false, misleading, and do not reflect the current state of the Hospital,” the statement said.
According to Management, patients and clients continue to access the facility safely.
The public has been urged to disregard the misleading post and rely only on information published through the Hospital’s official channels.
The Hospital warned that false information about healthcare facilities can cause unnecessary anxiety, undermine public confidence, and discourage patients from seeking timely care.
Ho Teaching Hospital reaffirmed its commitment to providing safe, quality and uninterrupted healthcare services to the Volta Region and beyond.
It said it will continue to communicate promptly and transparently on matters affecting its operations.
