Ghanaian music duo, DopeNation, has fulfilled its promise to support victims affected by the recent flooding in parts of Accra by donating relief items and cash assistance to affected families.
Following the devastating floods, the award-winning duo pledged to provide support to victims. The musicians have now delivered on that promise, visiting the Abeka community to present relief items and financial assistance to residents impacted by the disaster.
Sharing photos and videos from the donation on social media, DopeNation said the gesture was made possible through proceeds from their ongoing tour.
“Still on the matter. Cash relief to victims of the floods in Accra. This time around we decided to visit Abeka. Hopefully as we are on tour our proceeds can help ease a little stress. God bless us all,” the duo captioned the post.
The donation has been widely praised by fans and social media users, with many commending the musicians for using their platform and resources to support communities affected by the floods.
The recent floods caused significant damage across several parts of Accra, displacing families, destroying property, and prompting calls for continued relief efforts from individuals, organizations, and government agencies.
