Three people have reportedly died in a fatal collision at Juaso off the Kumasi-Accra highway on Monday, July 13, 2026.
The victims, including two males and one female, instantly succumbed to their injuries at the accident scene.
According to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), the accident occurred at Juaso Three-Lane, near NEXT BON Gas, involving a Shackman F3000 truck with registration number GN9673-25 loaded with clinker, and a Dongfeng Van with registration number GM4002-26.
Responding to an emergency call, the GNFS said the deceased were among a total of eighteen affected by the crash.
“Eighteen persons were involved in total. Three persons – two males and one female – were reported dead at the scene. Fifteen others sustained various degrees of injury,” It said.
The surviving victims, two drivers and thirteen others, were transported to Juaso Government Hospital for urgent treatment.
The accident caused partial damage to the cowl of the Shackman F3000 truck, while the windscreen and engine compartment of the Dongfeng Van sustained total damage.
The deceased were handed to the Police by a joint crew from the Konongo-Odumase Fire Station and Juaso Fire Station after their rescue mission.
