The Director of Operations for the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Divine Nkrumah, has cautioned pedestrians not to presume that all drivers will behave normally on the road.
Speaking on “Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ” on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, Mr Nkrumah stated that pedestrians should exercise caution on the road to ensure their own safety, stressing that not every vehicle is in good condition.
“When using the road we should assume every car is not in a good condition, all drivers would not behave normal on the road and anything can happen, just for our own good,” he advised.
During his submission, Mr Nkrumah urged commuters to be vigilant, noting that some drivers are not careful due to their constant need to move quickly and meet time constraints.
He further advised pedestrians to be mindful when using the road in order to safeguard their lives, pointing out that some drivers may also be dealing with personal challenges that could affect their behaviour on the road.
