Organisers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) have launched a fan-driven campaign to promote rising artistes ahead of the 27th edition of the awards.
In a post shared on the scheme’s official social media pages, the organisers urged music lovers to support their favourite “unsung” acts by helping them secure a performance slot on the prestigious stage.
According to the announcement, fans are required to post a photo of their preferred emerging artiste, tag the hashtag #27THTGMAUNSUNG, and rally support to boost the artiste’s chances of making the Unsung Nominees list.
“It’s time for your favourite emerging artiste to shine,” the post read, encouraging the public to play an active role in discovering and promoting new talent within the industry.
The initiative forms part of efforts by TGMA to give visibility to lesser-known artistes and provide them with a platform to reach a wider audience.
Nominations for the Unsung category are expected to close on Friday, March 28, 2026, as anticipation builds toward the main awards ceremony.
