Business mogul Ibrahim Mahama has pledged to fully sponsor a business startup of Emmanuel Asamoah, a Ghanaian who was a victim of xenophobic attacks in South Africa and recently relocated to Ghana.
The pledge follows a meeting where the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa hosted Asamoah at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mr. Mahama’s sponsorship will fund any business venture Asamoah chooses to start in Ghana, aiming to support his rehabilitation and economic empowerment after experiencing the abuse in South Africa.
