A National Vice Chairman hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, has declared himself a fit and ready candidate for the chairmanship to assist the party in reclaiming power in the 2028 general elections.
According to him, his academic credentials and political experience make him a sure bet to help market the NPP as part of their reorganization efforts to win the next elections.
“Political parties are run with strategy; it is crucial to draw up an appropriate strategy for the party’s profile based on current occurrences that will enable the party to approach an election and emerge victorious. As part of my work experience, I served as the Strategy Planning Manager at Media Magic and Research Systems, which was leading in the advertising sector in Ghana at the time. Campaigns for products like Nido, Ideal Milk, and GTP were executed under our strategy.
“At Ghana Advertising and Marketing, I worked as a Client Service Manager, responsible for developing marketing strategies for various products. Additionally, I have taken a course in political consultancy and have consulted for other political parties on the continent.
“I have what it takes to engage in dialogue with my colleagues at roundtable discussions and devise effective campaign and marketing strategies to promote the NPP for success in the next elections,” he explained.
The former Information Minister under the Akufo-Addo administration supports the practicality of his marketing capabilities, noting that he served as deputy national campaign manager to Peter Mac Manu during the 2020 elections, where they worked diligently to secure victory for the NPP.
Mustapha Abdul-Hamid shared this on Angel TV on May 21, 2026, in a one-on-one interview with Ohemaa Sakyiwaa while discussing his bid for the National Vice Chairmanship position.
