Renowned Ghanaian visual artist, poet, and Guinness World Record holder Sharon Dede Padi, popularly known as Padiki, has reportedly died at the age of 50.
According to reports, Padiki passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
Padiki made history as the first and official Guinness World Record holder for the Largest Leaf Print Painting in the world. Her record-breaking artwork celebrated Ghana’s culture, nature, and creativity and earned her recognition both locally and internationally.
