A member of the Board of Trustees in charge of the National Cathedral project, Dr Joyce Aryee, has disclosed the public will not be left out when acknowledging people who have donated to its construction.

According to Dr. Aryee, who was speaking on Angel FM’s Anopa Bↄfoↄ morning show with Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, GH₵100 per month for 12 months is the ideal amount the board expects from contributors to meet the project cost, but any amount supporters can afford is acceptable.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, in its quest to fulfil the promise then Candidate Akufo-Addo made in the run-up to the 2016 December 7 elections to build a national cathedral, appealed to the public to contribute some monies to support the project.

However, to ensure fairness in recognizing people who have contributed their monies to support the project, the para-church organization leader said names of donors, including the general public would be saved on a digital plaque which would be accessible to all.

“Everybody who contributes will be recognized, but we are not going to mount a plaque. We will build digital plaque so that when you input your name, it will pop up with the amount you have donated. You can enter the name of anyone you know to check their contributions too,” the Executive Director of Salt and Light Ministries said.
