The Bryan Acheampong Foundation, a non-governmental organisation founded by the Member of Parliament of Kwahu East, has put smiles on the faces of the people in the district by improving the educational deficit of the Seventh Day Adventist Primary School in Kwahu Tafo.

The Foundation commissioned a newly-built Kindergarten Block for the Kwahu Tafo SDA Primary school as part of its efforts to boost literacy in the region through educational programs.

The newly-built structure which saw its completion within six-months, is said to have cost about GH₵70,000.

Commissioning the project, Mr. Acheampong, said the building project was commenced by the school about three years ago but could not progress beyond the foundation level.

The gesture followed a request to aid the school, was made for which the foundation saw the need to support by taking the entire project up and completing the structure, he added.

The project, the Foundation believes will go a long way to increase enrollment in the school and also provide a sound environment for teaching and learning.

The Foundation in a release said it is committed to investing in the building of structures in order to reduce the infrastructural deficit in the Kwahu East District, particularly, at the kindergarten stage of education.

It commended the Kwahu East District Assembly and the Kwahu East Educational Directorate for their support throughout the period of works.

It further expressed appreciation to its founder for his enormous support in bringing such development to the community.

Bryan Acheampong Foundation, ever since its interception with its various educational initiatives, has contributed to the improvement of the educational sector in the area having constructed four Kindergarten blocks and refurbished a nine six-unit classroom blocks in 13 communities in total.

In addition to this, teachers at various levels of education have been granted scholarships to enable them to broaden their scope of learning to be able to effectively hand down the needed knowledge and skills to their pupils.
