Black Stars arrive in Kumasi ahead of Angola tie

Black Stars contingents have landed in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital for Ghana’s two-legged game against Angola in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

The invited twenty-five players together with the technical team led by Chris Hughton and his assistants Didi Dramani and George Boateng landed in the afternoon of Tuesday March 21, 2023, after they left the shores of Accra to Kumasi with a flight.

Key players among the invited players that landed in Kumasi included captain Andre Dede Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus among others.

Meanwhile, highlight of team’s arrival is Thomas Partey who reported with Simon Murphy, a physio from his mother club, Arsenal.

Upon their arrival, the team was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers which was received by Andre Ayew at the Kumasi Airport.

The team will train at the Baba Yara Stadium in evening ahead of the game against their Angola counterpart on Thursday, March 23 before travelling to Luanda for the reverse fixture.
