The Special Prosecutor (SP), Kissi Agyebeng has commenced investigations into the banking and financial sector crisis which cost the country huge sums of money.
According to him, the investigations target “alleged corruption and corruption-related offences perpetrated by officials of the Bank of Ghana, banks, specialised deposit-taking institutions and financial holding companies.”
The SP while assuring the public of its utmost best in bringing the offenders to book, encouraged members of the public who are aware of the criminal offences committed by the various officials to file complaints against them with his office.
