Two police officers have died in a collision involving a commercial bus and a motorbike on the Peki-Kpeve road.

The two deceased officers have been identified as Richard Dadzie and Evans Quansah.

Reports reaching angelonline.com.gh indicates that a 25-year-old man, Asupah Kwame, was driving a Ford Transit bus with registration number GJ 729-21 with seventeen (17) passengers on board.

They were travelling from Accra to Kpassa.

However, on reaching a section of the road between Asikuma and Peki on the Asikuma -Kpeve highway, one of the vehicle’s tyres apparently got burst and the vehicle veered into the opposite lane.

The bus crashed head-on with an Apsonic motor bike with the number M-22 VR 4, which was being  ridden by G/Constable Richard Dadzie with pillon rider  G/Corporal Evans Quansah all of Peki Police Station.
