Official: Slavko Matic is new coach of Accra Hearts of Oak

46-year-old Serbian trainer, Slavko Matic, has officially been appointed as head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak.

The tactician who replaces immediate past boss Samuel Boadu comes in with vast experience gathered in the game having managed host of teams in Asia and Europe.

The Serbian’s arrival was announced on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, and he joins the Phobians family on a two-year contract.

Matic will be assisted by David Ocloo as Assistant Coach, Richard Oppong as Goalkeeper’s trainer, Youth Team Coach, Samuel Nii Noi, and Fitness Coach, Enock Jordan Daitey.

The former Al-Shamal SC and Al Ahli Doha manager last coached Bulgarian side Septemvri Sofia.

Slavko Matic had previously managed clubs like Al-Nojoom FC (Saudi Arabia), Napredak Krusevac, OFK Beograd, Novi Paver, and FK Sloboda Uzice.
